Job Description
Join Children’s Mercy Kansas City as a Part-time Newborn Care Aide, specializing in weekend night shifts. Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with routine newborn care tasks, including feeding, diaper changes, and bathing.
- Monitor infants for any changes in condition and report observations promptly to the nursing team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for newborns.
- Comfort and soothe infants, assisting with swaddling and gentle handling.
- Document care activities accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide compassionate and supportive care to newborns and their families.
- Participate actively in all required training and professional development sessions.
