Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Warehouse Hand to join our team in Orlando. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and safe handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products within our state-of-the-art distribution center. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical goods, strictly adhering to all temperature control protocols and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming pharmaceutical products, verify against manifests, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately store products in designated temperature-controlled environments (refrigerated, frozen, controlled room temperature) following FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures, ensuring correct product, quantity, and packaging.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including labeling, staging, and loading onto trucks.
- Monitor and document temperature logs for storage areas and products as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Good Distribution Practices (GDP), FDA regulations, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a temperature-controlled environment (which may be cold or warm).
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center setting.
- Experience with pharmaceutical product handling or cold chain logistics.
- Certification or experience operating a forklift or electric pallet jack.
