Job Description
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in healthcare without prior experience? CVS Health is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Pharmacy Clerks. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of pharmacy operations and contribute to a fast-paced, supportive environment. You will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring our patients receive efficient and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register, process sales transactions, and handle payments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Organize and maintain the pharmacy workspace, ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Stock shelves, manage inventory, and assist with receiving and storing pharmacy supplies.
- Prepare prescription labels and maintain patient records under the supervision of a pharmacist or technician.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information regarding pharmacy services.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those pertaining to patient privacy (HIPAA).
- Support pharmacy staff in daily tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
