Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Pharmacy Records Clerk to join our remote team. This is a critical role that ensures the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of pharmacy records, playing an essential part in our commitment to patient safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of data integrity, and the ability to thrive in a 100% remote work environment. You will be responsible for managing electronic and physical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and supporting the pharmacy team through precise administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and maintain patient and prescription information into pharmacy systems.
  • Organize, file, and retrieve electronic and physical pharmacy records, ensuring easy accessibility.
  • Perform regular audits of records to ensure completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Process and manage insurance claims documentation and patient billing records.
  • Ensure all record-keeping practices comply with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals regarding record-related inquiries.
  • Assist with data migration projects and system updates as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information.
