Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated and highly professional Sedan Aide to join our esteemed team, with a particular focus on assignments during school hours. This is an ideal part-time opportunity for an individual who embodies reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing safe, comfortable, and courteous transportation services. The primary responsibility will involve the secure and timely transport of clients, often children or individuals requiring specific scheduling, to and from schools, appointments, and other designated locations exclusively within the Charlotte metropolitan area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company sedans to transport clients according to pre-determined schedules and routes, primarily during designated school hours (mornings, afternoons).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, ensuring its immaculate cleanliness and excellent operating condition at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal traffic laws, as well as all company policies and stringent safety protocols.
- Provide a consistently professional, courteous, and discreet experience for all passengers, respecting their privacy and individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of mileage, fuel consumption, travel times, and client interactions.
- Communicate effectively, promptly, and clearly with dispatch and management regarding schedule changes, potential delays, or any unforeseen operational issues.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting the vehicle as necessary, paying close attention to their comfort, mobility, and overall safety.
- Handle all confidential client information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Possession of a valid state driver's license with an impeccable driving record (no major infractions or accidents within the last 5 years).
- Demonstrated ability to navigate the Charlotte metropolitan area efficiently and effectively using GPS technology and comprehensive local knowledge.
- Exceptional punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with diverse clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the company's high standards.
- Proven ability to work flexible hours, specifically accommodating morning and afternoon school schedules.
- Excellent defensive driving skills and an unwavering commitment to passenger safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience (e.g., chauffeur, executive transport, high-end rideshare, school transport).
- Prior experience working with children or clients who may require specialized care or attention.
- Current First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
