Job Description
Join the Victor Valley Transit Authority as a Public Transit Secret Rider! In this stable and crucial role, you will play a vital part in our commitment to excellence by anonymously evaluating our bus and train services. You will ride various routes, observe operations, assess customer service, and report on the overall rider experience, ensuring VVTA maintains its high standards for safety, cleanliness, and punctuality. This is a hands-on opportunity for an individual with keen observational skills and a passion for public transit to contribute directly to improving community services.
Key Responsibilities
- Anonymously ride VVTA buses and potentially partner train services across various routes and times.
- Observe and accurately record details regarding vehicle cleanliness, operator professionalism, adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and overall passenger experience.
- Evaluate accessibility features and their proper functioning.
- Document any issues or positive observations using a provided digital reporting system.
- Provide constructive, objective, and detailed feedback through written reports.
- Maintain complete anonymity throughout the evaluation process.
- Adhere to all VVTA policies and procedures, including confidentiality guidelines.
Required Skills
