Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Image Labeler with a strong science focus to join our innovative team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately labeling and annotating medical image data (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound) to support the development and training of cutting-edge AI algorithms for medical diagnosis and research. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of biological and anatomical concepts, and a commitment to data quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately label and annotate various types of medical images according to detailed guidelines and specifications.
- Identify and delineate anatomical structures, pathologies, and other features within medical scans.
- Utilize specialized annotation tools and software effectively.
- Participate in quality assurance processes, including peer review and feedback sessions.
- Adhere strictly to data privacy and patient confidentiality protocols (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and clinical experts to refine labeling protocols and improve data quality.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy while working remotely.
- Document complex cases and provide constructive feedback on labeling tool performance and guideline clarity.

- Proven ability to work independently and maintain high standards of quality and productivity in a remote setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a life science field (e.g., Biology, Anatomy, Biomedical Science, Kinesiology) or related discipline.
- Previous experience with medical image labeling, data annotation, or clinical data entry.
- Familiarity with various medical imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound).
- Experience using annotation software for image or video data.
- Understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts and their application in healthcare.
