Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team at our Assisted Living Facility in Lakewood, CO. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. This position requires a caring individual who is passionate about serving seniors and committed to fostering a warm and welcoming community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed.
- Help residents with medication reminders and assist with self-administration of medication as per facility policy.
- Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Respond to resident call signals promptly and courteously.
- Document care provided accurately and timely in residents' records.
Required Skills

- Ability to lift and move residents safely (with assistance as needed)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience as a Resident Assistant, CNA, or caregiver in an assisted living or healthcare setting
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
