Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent Salad Leaf Pickers to join our dedicated harvesting team in Reading, Berkshire. This is a fast-paced role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will be an essential part of our operation, ensuring that our fresh produce is harvested precisely and promptly for delivery to our customers. Weekly pay is a key benefit for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully hand-picking a variety of salad leaves according to quality standards and specific crop requirements.
- Working efficiently to meet daily harvesting targets in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Operating basic harvesting equipment under supervision (e.g., trolleys, crates).
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Inspecting produce for quality, ensuring only the best leaves are harvested.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily goals.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending and lifting, for extended periods.
