Job Description
Join the Canadian Tire team as a Seasonal Shed Organizer! We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to help us prepare our outdoor storage areas for the upcoming winter and summer seasons. This role involves organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient use of space within our sheds and outdoor storage facilities. You will play a crucial role in managing our seasonal product flow, ensuring items are accessible and well-maintained for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and label all items within designated sheds and outdoor storage areas.
- Categorize products for optimal accessibility and inventory management.
- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of storage spaces.
- Assist with receiving and stocking new seasonal merchandise.
- Prepare sheds for seasonal transitions, including winterizing and summer readiness.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired inventory.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely, if required (training provided).
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational flow.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of inventory principles.
