Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Evening Shelf Stocker to join our team in Pasco, WA. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked and organized for our customers. You will work primarily during evening hours, completing your tasks by 9 PM daily, helping to prepare the store for the next day’s business. Key Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks and transfer merchandise to the sales floor.
- Efficiently stock shelves, ensuring proper product rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out).
- Organize and maintain product displays according to store planograms and company standards.
- Verify pricing and ensure accuracy of shelf tags.
- Remove damaged or expired products from shelves and assist with returns/disposal.
- Assist with store cleanup and organization at the end of the shift, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Communicate any stocking issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and unassisted.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures and organization.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery stocking environment.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks or similar material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
