Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Shopify Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced operations team in Shoreditch, London. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our Shopify store’s order fulfilment processes, with a particular focus on leveraging ShipStation for efficient shipping and coordinating warehousing activities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth logistics operations from order placement to customer delivery, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily order processing and fulfilment directly from our Shopify platform.
- Utilise and optimise ShipStation for all shipping activities, including label generation, tracking, and carrier selection.
- Coordinate with our warehouse team to ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels on Shopify and in the warehouse, reconciling discrepancies and initiating replenishment as needed.
- Liaise with various shipping carriers to resolve issues, manage returns, and negotiate services.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehousing practices to maximise space and streamline operations.
- Generate regular reports on shipping performance, inventory accuracy, and fulfilment KPIs.
- Identify and implement improvements to logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.
- Provide support for other ad-hoc logistics and operational tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with the Shopify e-commerce platform.
- Demonstrable expertise in using ShipStation for shipping management.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control and order fulfilment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with lean logistics principles.
