Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable Small Parcel Warehouse Hands to join our team in Pearland, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for consistent work in a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled indoor environment. You will be responsible for handling small packages, ensuring efficient sorting, packing, and preparation for shipment, playing a crucial role in our global logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, scan, and process incoming small parcels using handheld devices.
- Efficiently pack items according to company standards and customer order specifications.
- Load and unload packages from conveyors, carts, and delivery vehicles.
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety protocols.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance and quality standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed (training provided).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in task execution.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar fast-paced environment.
- Experience using scanning devices or inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
