Job Description
As a Social Media Comment Tagger – Community Safety, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and positive online environment across Meta’s platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously review and accurately tag user-generated comments based on our comprehensive community guidelines. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding content integrity and user safety. You will contribute directly to the refinement of our AI moderation systems by providing high-quality data input, helping us identify and mitigate harmful content efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and tag social media comments, identifying content that violates community standards (e.g., hate speech, harassment, misinformation, violence).
- Apply specific and consistent tags to content to aid in categorization and machine learning model training.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tagging guidelines and processes.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and policy teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in tagging decisions.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content with professionalism and resilience.
- Provide feedback on content trends and patterns observed during tagging to relevant teams.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in using content review tools and systems.
- Comfortable working with sensitive, graphic, or controversial content.
