Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Sports Gear Tagger to join our team in Fremont, CA. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately tagging and preparing sports merchandise for the sales floor and inventory. This ‘Smart Working’ role emphasizes efficiency and accuracy in managing our extensive range of products. Your contribution ensures that our customers can easily find and purchase the gear they need, directly impacting their shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag, label, and price all incoming sports gear and apparel according to company standards and guidelines.
- Inspect products for quality and report any damages or discrepancies to management.
- Organize and maintain back stock areas, ensuring products are easily accessible and neatly stored.
- Utilize inventory management systems and handheld devices for product tracking and data entry.
- Assist with receiving and unloading shipments, verifying contents against delivery manifests.
- Collaborate with sales associates and merchandising teams to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies within the retail environment.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and system navigation.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
