Job Description
Join the vibrant world of live music and events as a Concert Ticket Taker for Live Nation Entertainment in the Pearl District, Portland, Oregon. This casual hire position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the front lines of major concerts, festivals, and special events. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process for all guests, providing excellent customer service, and upholding venue policies. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to memorable live experiences. Shifts are event-based and will vary, offering flexibility for your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately scan and validate tickets for entry using handheld scanners or manual checks.
- Verify guest credentials, including age verification for restricted events when necessary.
- Provide clear and friendly directions to guests regarding venue amenities, seating, and policies.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally, escalating complex situations to event supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor at all times.
- Enforce venue safety and security protocols, including bag checks and prohibited item policies.
- Assist with crowd management and maintain orderly queues.
- Work collaboratively with other event staff to ensure a seamless event experience.
