Job Description
Join Amazon’s Student Warehouse Team in Yonkers, NY, focusing on sorting and picking tasks. This part-time role is perfect for students looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced logistics environment while balancing their academic commitments. You will be an integral part of our fulfillment center operations, ensuring packages are accurately sorted and products are efficiently picked for customer orders. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming packages and products into designated locations.
- Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all sorted and picked items.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing and loading.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Basic computer navigation skills for using scanning devices.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 pounds.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a high school or college program.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment (not required, but a plus).
