Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced tilers with all aspects of tiling installations.
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, levelling, and priming.
  • Measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately under supervision.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, grouts, and sealants.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring they are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site.
  • Support the tiling team with various tasks as needed to ensure project completion.
  • Learn and develop new skills continuously from skilled tradespeople.

  • Previous experience in a construction or manual labour role (even basic).
  • Full UK driving license and access to reliable transport.

  • CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one upon starting).
