Job Description
Expedia Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Travel Itinerary Processor with a strong focus on online booking systems to join our remote team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within the USA. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of travel itineraries generated through our various online platforms, supporting a seamless experience for our global customers. In this role, you will meticulously review, verify, and process travel bookings, ensuring all details conform to company standards and customer requests. Your expertise in navigating online booking tools and your keen eye for detail will be essential in maintaining the high quality of service Expedia Group is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify travel bookings and itineraries from various online sources with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review booking details for discrepancies, errors, and compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
- Update and maintain travel records in our internal systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve booking issues or clarify information.
- Assist in identifying patterns of errors and suggest improvements for online booking processes.
- Handle confidential customer information with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated on new booking technologies and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (1+ years) in data entry, administrative support, or a similar processing role, preferably within the travel industry.
- Strong proficiency with online travel booking systems and general web-based applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Expedia Group's proprietary booking platforms.
- Knowledge of global travel destinations, airline codes, and hotel booking procedures.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Experience in a customer service environment, even if not direct customer interaction in this role.
