Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Pharmacy Order Filler to join our fast-paced warehouse team in Fullerton, CA. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of prescription medications and healthcare products. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence. No phone work is involved; your focus will be entirely on physical order fulfillment within our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve pharmaceutical products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner directions.
- Verify product quantity, strength, and lot numbers against order documentation to ensure correctness.
- Carefully package medications and healthcare products to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare completed orders for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or carts safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and pharmaceutical handling guidelines.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Capable of standing, walking, lifting (up to 30 lbs), bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or fulfillment setting.
- Experience with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical products or healthcare industry practices.
