Job Description
Join FedEx Ground as a Twilight Shift Package Handler in our New Port Richey facility. This crucial role involves sorting, loading, and unloading packages to ensure timely and accurate delivery. We offer a flexible schedule, working from 6 PM to 11 PM, perfect for individuals seeking consistent evening hours. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Sort packages by destination, adhering to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Scan packages accurately to track their movement within the system.
- Move packages to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, and carry for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
