Job Description
Join the UPS team as an Entry Level Security Marshall and play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our operations. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols to protect our assets, employees, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems to detect and prevent unauthorized entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of company premises, including warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
- Verify identification and credentials for all persons entering and exiting the facility.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, implementing established procedures to ensure safety and security.
- Document and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Assist with investigations into security incidents and contribute to corrective actions.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
