Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport goods across designated routes, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Handle freight securely and responsibly, including proper loading and unloading procedures when required.
Required Skills
- Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Military veteran status.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military driving experience (e.g., heavy equipment operator, logistics specialist).
- Experience with various trailer types (e.g., dry van, reefer, tanker).
- HazMat endorsement.
- Tanker endorsement.
- Doubles/Triples endorsement.
