Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally professional and discreet VIP Transport Specialist with a strong focus on luxury SUV operation to join our premier hospitality team. This critical role involves providing safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for our VIP guests, executives, and high-profile clients. The ideal candidate will possess an expert level of driving skill, an intimate knowledge of the Spokane area, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of vehicle presentation and guest service. You will be responsible for ensuring a flawless and secure travel experience, reflecting the luxury brand of The Davenport Grand Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate luxury SUVs safely and efficiently for the transportation of VIP guests, executives, and clients.
- Maintain a pristine appearance and immaculate condition of all assigned luxury vehicles.
- Plan optimal routes, considering traffic, weather, and guest preferences to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to guest needs.
- Assist guests with luggage and other personal belongings, ensuring secure handling.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest itineraries and sensitive information.
- Be available for scheduled and occasional unscheduled assignments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in luxury transport or chauffeur services.
- Impeccable driving record with no major infractions.
- Valid state driver's license (Class C or equivalent) with appropriate endorsements.
- Deep familiarity with Spokane metropolitan area roadways, traffic patterns, and points of interest.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Physical ability to assist with luggage and ingress/egress for guests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating various luxury SUV models (e.g., Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Lincoln Navigator).
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced driver training.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry, particularly with luxury hotels.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and real-time traffic applications.
