Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic HR Tech team. This 100% remote role focuses on providing an exceptional virtual onboarding experience for new hires across various client organizations utilizing ADP’s cutting-edge HR platforms. You will be responsible for guiding new employees through their initial paperwork, system setup, and foundational understanding of their new employment, ensuring a smooth and positive transition. This position offers flexible daytime hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while contributing significantly to our clients’ and their new hires’ success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their virtual onboarding process, providing support and guidance.
  • Assist new employees with the completion of all required digital forms, documents, and system access setup within ADP platforms.
  • Conduct virtual orientation sessions to introduce company policies, benefits, and key HR technology tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve onboarding-related inquiries and technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal HR teams, IT, and hiring managers to ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date new hire records and documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the virtual onboarding journey to enhance efficiency and new hire experience.
  • Provide feedback on new hire experiences to improve overall onboarding program effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS), ideally ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced virtual environment.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a virtual customer service or HR support role.
  • Familiarity with various employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
