Job Description
Join Walmart as a Warehouse Associate and become an essential part of our dynamic logistics team in Thousand Oaks. We are offering an exciting opportunity for dedicated individuals to contribute to the efficient movement of goods within our distribution network. This role involves various warehouse activities, ensuring that products are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. We’re looking for enthusiastic team players ready to make an impact from day one. All new hires for this position are eligible for a sign-on bonus!
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (certification preferred but training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Commitment to safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other warehouse equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
