Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Quality Auditor to join our remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our warehouse operations across various locations through data analysis, process review, and remote compliance checks. While this position is 100% remote, the focus will be on auditing warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, safety protocols, and operational compliance using digital tools and data systems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions, and upholding Amazon’s stringent quality standards without requiring physical presence in a warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive remote audits of warehouse processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping procedures, through system data and documentation review.
- Analyze performance metrics and identify trends related to quality, accuracy, and efficiency within warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans based on audit findings to enhance operational quality and compliance.
- Monitor adherence to safety regulations and company policies by reviewing incident reports, training records, and procedural documents.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and operational teams virtually to ensure consistent application of quality standards and best practices.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders, highlighting areas of risk and recommending solutions.
- Participate in the development and refinement of quality assurance protocols and auditing methodologies for remote execution.
- Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements pertaining to warehousing and logistics.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in quality assurance, auditing, or a related role within logistics or warehousing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, business intelligence platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report generation and virtual collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- High degree of integrity and professional ethics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Experience with Amazon's internal systems and quality management frameworks.
- Familiarity with remote auditing tools and techniques.
- Experience working in a fully remote or hybrid work model.
