Job Description
Are you passionate about health, wellness, and digital content? Healthline Media is seeking a motivated Wellness Blogger Trainee with an SEO focus to join our dynamic editorial team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for an aspiring writer to kickstart their career in digital media, learn the ropes of SEO, and contribute to impactful wellness content. You’ll work closely with experienced editors and SEO specialists, gaining hands-on experience in research, writing, and optimizing articles for a broad audience. This role offers WFH potential, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on various wellness, health, and lifestyle topics to support content creation.
- Draft engaging and informative blog posts, articles, and other digital content under the guidance of senior editors.
- Learn and apply SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring, to improve search engine visibility.
- Collaborate with the editorial, SEO, and content strategy teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and strategic goals.
- Assist in fact-checking, editing, and proofreading content to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish and update articles.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for wellness content initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest wellness trends, health research, and SEO developments.
Required Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and a keen interest in learning more.
- Strong research abilities with a focus on accuracy and credible sources.
- High level of motivation, eagerness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative remote team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Prior experience with content creation (e.g., personal blog, academic papers, internships) demonstrating writing proficiency.
- Familiarity with health and wellness topics and a genuine passion for the industry.
- Experience using content management systems (e.g., WordPress) or SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
