Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Food Service Quality Rater to join our team in Daly City, CA. In this routine role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food service standards, including freshness, presentation, temperature, and cleanliness, are consistently met across our prepared food sections. This is an on-site position vital to maintaining our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular checks of food preparation and serving areas for cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Monitor and record food temperatures in various displays and storage units to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Inspect the freshness, appearance, and quality of prepared foods, produce, and baked goods.
- Verify product labeling for accuracy, including ingredients, allergens, and expiration dates.
- Provide feedback and report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality checks and observations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to follow precise instructions and established protocols.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills to report findings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a food service, retail, or quality control environment.
- Current Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
- Familiarity with local food safety regulations.
