Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated FedEx Freight Online Specialist with a strong focus on Data Integrity to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of freight-related data within our online systems. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and resolving data discrepancies, implementing data quality improvements, and maintaining robust data governance standards to support efficient freight operations and customer satisfaction. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, audit, and analyze freight data across various online platforms and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and investigate data inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, IT, customer service) to resolve data integrity issues and improve data capture processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular data cleansing and validation activities to uphold data quality metrics.
- Assist in the implementation and testing of new online systems or features affecting freight data.
- Generate reports on data quality performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on data entry protocols and data integrity principles.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data analysis, data entry, or a data-focused role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with database systems and data management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Familiarity with FedEx internal systems and processes.
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
