Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pinterest Business Analyst to join our dynamic Strategy & Insights team. This role is crucial for leveraging Pinterest data to inform our digital marketing strategies, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, have a deep understanding of the Pinterest platform, and possess the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations. You will be responsible for monitoring trends, analyzing campaign performance, and providing insights that shape our content strategy and advertising efforts on Pinterest.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reporting dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for Pinterest marketing initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Pinterest campaign performance, audience engagement, and content trends to identify areas for optimization and growth.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to marketing, content, and product teams based on data analysis.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends on Pinterest to identify best practices and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, implement tracking solutions, and ensure data integrity.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Assist in forecasting and budget planning related to Pinterest marketing spend based on performance data.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role with a focus on social media platforms.
- Proven expertise in Pinterest analytics and understanding of the platform's ecosystem.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with other social media analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, SEO, and paid media strategies.
- Experience in the retail or home improvement industry.
