Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and exceptionally precise Professional Livery Operator to join our elite team in Peoria, IL. This role is crucial for delivering the superior ground transportation experience that Carey International is renowned for. The ideal candidate will possess an unwavering commitment to safety, an impeccable driving record, and a dedication to providing discreet, timely, and executive-level service. You will be responsible for transporting our valued clients, including corporate executives, dignitaries, and VIPs, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and punctuality with every ride.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate luxury vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Ensure punctuality for all scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs, utilizing advanced navigation and route planning to anticipate and avoid delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of assigned vehicles, inside and out, before, during, and after each service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and discretion at all times.
- Assist clients with luggage and other needs, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free experience.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip status, potential delays, or any client requests.
- Adhere to company uniform standards and maintain a polished, professional appearance.
- Handle confidential client information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in professional driving, chauffeur, or livery services (3+ years).
- Exceptional knowledge of local geography and efficient route planning.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle maintenance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience driving luxury vehicles or serving VIP clientele.
- Defensive driving certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Familiarity with various navigation and traffic monitoring applications.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
