Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apple Metadata Analyst with a strong focus on Machine Learning to join our innovative team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for analyzing, categorizing, and managing metadata within the Apple ecosystem, leveraging machine learning techniques to automate and enhance our data understanding and utilization. This position requires a blend of data analysis expertise, a deep understanding of Apple’s metadata structures, and practical experience in applying machine learning algorithms to complex datasets. You will play a crucial role in enabling more intelligent decision-making and product development by transforming raw data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, classify, and organize large volumes of metadata from various Apple platforms and services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models to automate metadata extraction, classification, and enrichment processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate ML solutions into existing data pipelines and applications.
- Perform data quality assessments, identify inconsistencies, and implement solutions to ensure metadata accuracy and integrity.
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate key insights and trends derived from metadata analysis.
- Stay current with advancements in Apple technologies, metadata standards, and machine learning methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of metadata governance policies and best practices.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, metadata management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem, data structures, and metadata types (e.g., Photos, Files, Music).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Previous experience in the financial services industry or working with sensitive data.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
