Job Description
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for digital marketing and a keen interest in how search engines work? Do you thrive on data, analysis, and optimising online presence? bet365 is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Junior SEO Specialist to join our remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with no prior experience to kickstart their career in SEO, focusing specifically on Google algorithms and best practices. You’ll work closely with our experienced SEO professionals, learning the ropes and contributing directly to our global digital strategy. This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the chance to develop your skills from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify new opportunities and monitor keyword performance.
- Assist in technical SEO audits, identifying issues and recommending solutions for website improvements.
- Support content teams with SEO best practices for on-page optimisation, including title tags, meta descriptions, and header structures.
- Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO industry trends.
- Participate in link building strategies and outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, development, and marketing, to implement SEO recommendations.
- Assist in competitive analysis to identify market trends and SEO strategies of competitors.
- Learn and apply various SEO tools and software for analysis and reporting.
Required Skills
- Recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of how search engines (especially Google) work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, eager to learn, and a proactive problem-solver.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SEO concepts and terminology.
- Experience with Google Analytics or Google Search Console (even academic projects).
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Any coursework or projects related to digital marketing or web development.
