Job Description

McGraw Hill is seeking a talented and creative Online Vocabulary Builder to develop engaging and effective vocabulary content specifically designed for 13-year-old teens. This is an exciting educational gig perfect for a content creator, educator, or linguist who understands how to make learning fun and impactful for adolescents. This is a 100% remote contract position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging, age-appropriate vocabulary exercises and activities for 13-year-old teens.
  • Create clear and concise definitions, example sentences, and contextual usage for target vocabulary words.
  • Integrate multimedia elements such as images, audio, and interactive quizzes to enhance learning.
  • Ensure all content aligns with educational standards and best practices for adolescent language acquisition.
  • Collaborate with our content team to review, refine, and optimize learning materials.
  • Regularly update and maintain existing vocabulary resources to keep them fresh and relevant.
  • Provide creative input for new vocabulary learning strategies and features.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, teaching, or content creation, particularly for middle school students.
