Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the paid training program to learn pharmacy operations, laws, and procedures.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process customer transactions and manage patient records with confidentiality.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with ordering.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and package medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems to input and retrieve patient information.
