Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Weekend Casual Worker. This part-time role involves working flexible afternoon and morning shifts on weekends, providing essential support to our warehouse operations and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for our members. Key Responsibilities
- Assist members with loading and unloading merchandise.
- Restock shelves and maintain product displays, ensuring a well-organized and appealing sales floor.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and common areas.
- Operate basic equipment (e.g., manual pallet jack) safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service to all members.
- Support various departments as needed to ensure smooth weekend operations and member satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members and colleagues.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (both mornings and afternoons) as scheduled.
- Basic understanding of customer service principles and a desire to help others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with operating material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to occasionally cover additional shifts beyond regular weekend hours.
