Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proficient Virtual Transcription Assistant to join our global team. This is a fully remote position dedicated to converting audio and video files into accurate, high-quality text for our diverse international clientele. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional listening skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong command of English grammar and punctuation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring clear and precise communication for our clients, contributing directly to the success of global projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio and video recordings into text format, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Ensure transcribed documents are free from grammatical errors, punctuation mistakes, and spelling discrepancies.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to specific client guidelines.
- Manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Utilize transcription software and tools effectively to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with project managers regarding project status or challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transcription best practices and industry standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in transcription (at least 1 year).
- Exceptional listening skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Proficiency with transcription software and word processing tools (e.g., MS Word).
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently (minimum 60 WPM).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
