Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Twitter (X) Moderator with a passion for entertainment and a keen eye for social media trends to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining Netflix’s brand presence on X, engaging with our audience, and proactively identifying emerging trends related to our content, competitors, and the broader entertainment landscape. The ideal candidate will be adept at real-time monitoring, community engagement, and providing actionable insights from social media data, all while working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Netflix's official Twitter (X) channels and relevant hashtags in real-time for mentions, comments, and direct messages.
- Engage with the audience in a brand-consistent voice, responding to inquiries, comments, and feedback promptly and appropriately.
- Proactively identify and track emerging social media trends, conversations, and viral content relevant to Netflix's shows, movies, and brand.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on social media performance, key trends, sentiment analysis, and audience insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and public relations teams to align social media strategies with overall company goals.
- Escalate critical issues, negative sentiment, or potential PR risks to the appropriate internal teams immediately.
- Stay up-to-date with X's platform features, algorithms, and best practices, as well as broader social media trends.
- Assist in content scheduling and posting on X as needed, ensuring all posts adhere to brand guidelines and social media best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in social media moderation or community management, specifically with Twitter (X).
- Strong understanding of social media trends, viral content, and digital culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (US English).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify nuances in online conversations.
- Proficiency with social media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to react quickly and thoughtfully in fast-paced social media environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the entertainment, media, or technology industry.
- Familiarity with Netflix content and brand voice.
- Experience with advanced social listening tools and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
