Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Home Assistant to join our team in Bristol. This ongoing role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of elderly residents. You will provide essential care and support, promoting independence and dignity in a professional and friendly manner. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility, always maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Support residents with meal times, ensuring they receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship, fostering a stimulating and enjoyable environment.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for residents, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Accurately complete care records and documentation as required.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating clearly and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care setting (e.g., nursing home, residential care, home care).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards it.
- First Aid certification.
