Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Industrial Robotics Annotator with a strong Computer Vision Focus to join our innovative team in New Port Richey, FL. In this critical role, you will be responsible for precisely labeling and annotating vast datasets of images and video frames featuring industrial robots, manufacturing environments, and various objects. Your work will directly contribute to the training and validation of advanced machine learning models that power the next generation of autonomous robotic systems and computer vision applications, enhancing safety, efficiency, and precision in industrial settings. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and consistent annotation of images and video data, identifying and labeling industrial robots, tools, workpieces, human operators, and environmental features (e.g., obstacles, safety zones).
- Utilize specialized annotation tools to create bounding boxes, polygons, semantic segmentation masks, and keypoint annotations according to project guidelines.
- Work closely with computer vision engineers and data scientists to understand annotation requirements and contribute to data quality improvements.
- Identify and categorize edge cases or ambiguities in data, providing clear feedback for annotation guideline refinement.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and adherence to project deadlines.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new tools, techniques, and project requirements.
- Contribute to the development of robust, scalable AI solutions for industrial automation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, VGG Image Annotator, Supervisely, CVAT).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
- Basic understanding of computer vision concepts and machine learning workflows.
- Familiarity with industrial environments, robotics, or manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, Industrial Design).
- Experience with 3D annotation or point cloud labeling.
- Knowledge of Python scripting for data manipulation or automation tasks.
