Job Description
As a Records Management Aide focusing on Digital Archiving, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of FedEx’s critical documents. This position involves assisting with the digitization, organization, and maintenance of physical and electronic records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will primarily support the transition of physical archives to digital formats, contributing to efficient information retrieval and data management processes crucial for our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, index, and categorize a high volume of physical documents for digital archiving.
- Perform meticulous quality control checks on digitized documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readability.
- Assist with data entry and verification into the records management system with a high degree of precision.
- Retrieve and disseminate information and documents as requested, adhering to strict confidentiality and data security protocols.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy access and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures related to records retention, data privacy, and information security.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in computer usage and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
