Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Train Station Porters to join our team in Cambridge. Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with luggage, accessibility needs, and general inquiries.
- Provide directions and information regarding train services, platforms, and station facilities.
- Ensure the station environment is clean, tidy, and safe for all passengers and staff.
- Support station staff with crowd management, especially during peak times or service disruptions.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activity promptly.
- Handle packages, parcels, and other station deliveries as required.
- Operate station equipment safely and efficiently, such as trolleys or lifts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Uphold Great Northern's standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
