Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify Specialist with a strong focus on Retargeting and Meta Ads to join our dynamic team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge retargeting strategies and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns for our diverse portfolio of e-commerce clients. You will play a crucial role in driving customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall ROI through data-driven approaches and continuous optimization. This role requires a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage retargeting campaigns across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to re-engage lapsed customers and abandoned carts for Shopify clients.
- Develop comprehensive Meta advertising strategies, including audience segmentation, ad creative testing, and bid management for various campaign objectives (conversion, traffic, lead generation).
- Monitor campaign performance daily, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad copy and visuals that resonate with target audiences.
- Utilize Shopify analytics and other tracking tools to measure campaign effectiveness and provide detailed performance reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in Shopify features, Meta advertising policies, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and threats in the e-commerce landscape.
- Communicate regularly with clients to discuss campaign performance, strategy adjustments, and future initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns, specifically with a retargeting focus.
- In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, including its marketing functionalities, app integrations, and analytics.
- Proven track record of driving significant ROI through paid social advertising for e-commerce brands.
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms or advertising channels (e.g., Google Ads, TikTok Ads).
- Certification in Meta Blueprint.
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
