Job Description
Are you an aspiring esthetician eager to gain hands-on experience in a high-demand service? Urbane Spa & Salon is offering a unique Dermaplaning Student Intern opportunity in Moncton, New Brunswick. Key Responsibilities
- Observe and assist senior estheticians during dermaplaning procedures and other facial treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and supplies are organized.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with industry standards.
- Learn about client consultation, skin analysis, and post-treatment care for dermaplaning clients.
- Practice dermaplaning techniques on models or under direct supervision as guided by mentors.
- Engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory management of dermaplaning tools and related products.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited esthetics program.
- Strong passion for skincare and the beauty industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology.
