Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable 15-year-old teens to join our team as Laundry Aides. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable work experience in a supportive healthcare environment. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable living space for our residents. Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing according to established procedures.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to supervisors.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the nursing home operations.
- Handle resident belongings with care and respect.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
