Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our cloud infrastructure team as a Data Entry Specialist. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while contributing to critical operations. You will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining essential data within our cloud management systems and databases. Your precision and commitment to data integrity will be crucial in supporting various operational and analytical functions for our clients’ cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update data into various cloud infrastructure management platforms and databases.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors efficiently.
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.
- Organize and categorize digital files and records related to cloud assets, configurations, and user access.
- Generate reports and summaries from collected data as required by team leads.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding data discrepancies or workflow improvements.
- Assist with data cleanup and migration projects as needed to ensure system efficiency.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in data entry techniques with a focus on speed and reliability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., servers, storage, networking).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably within an IT environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with ticketing systems or IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- A diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology).
