Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Lottery Ticket Roll Packer at our highly secure printing facility in Mobile, Alabama. This essential role involves the precise and careful packing of finished lottery ticket rolls, ensuring integrity and security before distribution. You will operate within a controlled environment, maintaining strict adherence to quality control and security protocols. This position is vital to the successful and secure delivery of our lottery products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized packing machinery to efficiently roll and pack lottery tickets according to strict specifications.
- Perform quality checks on finished rolls to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and absence of defects.
- Verify count and sequence of ticket rolls against production orders to prevent discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company security policies and procedures, including access control and material handling guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall facility cleanliness.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, security breaches, or quality issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Assist with inventory management of packing materials as needed.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and security protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Experience operating packing or rolling machinery.
- Familiarity with secure handling procedures or quality control processes.
