Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shopify Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms. This role is crucial for ensuring our online stores run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, providing an optimal shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing online store functionality, content, and performance. You will be responsible for the operational health and daily maintenance of our Shopify sites, working closely with marketing, merchandising, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational tasks within the Shopify admin, including product uploads, inventory adjustments, pricing updates, and collection management.
- Monitor site performance, identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure all features are functioning correctly.
- Coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns, banner updates, and landing pages.
- Oversee order fulfillment processes, customer service inquiries related to site functionality, and returns/exchanges management.
- Implement SEO best practices for product pages and site content to improve organic search rankings.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers on site enhancements, app integrations, and bug fixes.
- Generate regular reports on site performance, sales, and user engagement, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all e-commerce regulations and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates and e-commerce industry trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify e-commerce store.
- Proficiency with Shopify admin panel, themes, apps, and core functionalities.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, UX, and conversion optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot common e-commerce platform issues independently.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and liquid templating for minor site adjustments.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Experience in a retail or consumer goods industry environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
