Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Part-Time Float Teller to join our team in Spokane, WA. As a Float Teller, you will be instrumental in supporting various Washington Trust Bank branches across the Spokane area, providing crucial coverage and ensuring seamless customer service during peak times, vacations, and unexpected absences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse experience within our branch network, interact with a wide range of clients, and be a vital part of our operational success. You will be responsible for processing transactions, identifying customer needs, and promoting bank products, all while upholding our commitment to accuracy and exceptional client experiences. This position includes a bonus structure tied to performance and successful branch support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a variety of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Identify customer financial needs and refer them to appropriate banking partners (e.g., loan officers, investment advisors).
- Maintain strict adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Balance cash drawer daily and assist with branch balancing activities.
- Handle and safeguard confidential customer information.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Washington Trust Bank, representing our values and services across different branch locations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cash handling and balancing.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.

- Reliable transportation to travel between Spokane area branch locations.
